  • ✓20% tax applied on commission (VAT 15% + NHIL 2.5% + GETFund 2.5%)
  • ✓Deducted from seller's proceeds at completion
  • ✓Buyer pays 1.5% of the commission
Example: On a GHS 500,000 sale — seller pays 3.5% (GHS 17,500 + GHS 2,625 VAT = GHS 20,125). Buyer pays 1.5% (GHS 7,500 + GHS 1,125 VAT = GHS 8,625). Seller receives GHS 479,875.

  • ✓Calculated on the total rent paid through escrow
  • ✓20% tax applied on commission (VAT 15% + NHIL 2.5% + GETFund 2.5%)
  • ✓Owner pays 3%, tenant pays 2% of the commission
  • ✓Tenants pay no additional fees beyond the 2%
Example: On a 2-year lease at GHS 3,000/month (GHS 72,000 total) — owner pays 3% (GHS 2,160 + GHS 324 VAT = GHS 2,484). Tenant pays 2% (GHS 1,440 + GHS 216 VAT = GHS 1,656). Owner receives GHS 69,516.
